“In 2019, I took a leap of faith and opened my own mortgage company - Parish Lending. I had this burning desire to create something special, something that would make a real difference in people's lives. And that's when it hit me: why not open my own mortgage brokerage? It felt a little crazy at the time, but sometimes, the craziest ideas turn out to be the best ones.

It was so important to me to brand my company with home in mind. The 🌳 tree 🌳 in my logo is from my hometown in West Baton Rouge - it's reminiscent of the iconic oak - the ‘Back Brusly’ Oak. It's a symbol of strength and stability, just like a mortgage should be. So, naturally, I had to incorporate that timeless oak into my logo.

Now, let's talk about the name - Parish Lending. I thought to myself, "What's more local to Louisiana than our beautiful parishes?" It's like they're the heartbeat of our state, each one with its own unique charm. So, why not pay homage to our beloved parishes with a name that captures the essence of our community?

And just like that, Parish Lending was born. A mortgage brokerage that's not just about buying houses, but about that indescribable feeling of home and comfort. With a deep commitment to providing exceptional financial services, Erica is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership dreams.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Erica is an avid tennis enthusiast, regularly participating in league tennis and passionately supporting the LSU Lady Tigers’ tennis team. Her love for the sport and involvement in the tennis community led her and her family to be honored as recipients of the Mickey McNulty Tennis Family of the Year award in 2015.

As residents of Louisiana, Erica and her children are proud parishioners of St. Jude the Apostle Church.

Erica obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from LSU, equipping her with a strong educational foundation to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the mortgage industry.
